Job Summary:

The Electronics Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling electronic components and devices, focusing on tasks such as ultrasonic welding of plastic housings, soldering wiring to circuit boards, applying coatings, and pad printing. Additionally, the Technician will build electrical wiring harnesses for automotive and related applications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Ultrasonic Welding: Perform ultrasonic welding of plastic housings to ensure secure and reliable assembly.
Soldering: Solder wiring to circuit boards with accuracy, ensuring optimal connections and functionality.
Coating Application: Apply protective coatings to electronic components as required, adhering to quality standards.
Pad Printing: Execute pad printing processes for labeling and branding on various electronic parts.
Wiring Harness Assembly: Build and assemble electrical wiring harnesses for automotive and other related industries, following work instructions and specifications.
Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve assembly issues, making necessary adjustments to improve product quality.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, parts used, and any issues encountered.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training is a plus.

Experience:
Entry level / Willing to train.
Previous experience with electrical wiring, in particular automotive, is desirable.
Previous experience with manufacturing is desirable.

Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills such as sending and replying to emails, use web portals to access build instructions and part information.
Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
Integrity and accountability, with a commitment to quality of the end product.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to read and work independently from documentation, physical or electronic.

Working Conditions:

Warehouse / Office environment.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to clearly see small parts and differentiate colors.
Must have dexterity to use and manipulate small tools and parts.
