Responsibilities:

Initial and on-going assessment of potential and current participants.

Develops, directs, supervises and evaluates nursing care provided to participants.

Gather participants medical records.

Administering medications.

Keeps all participants information confidential.

Supervises, directs and evaluates CNAs.

Initiates and leads team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.

Completes documentation of needs and treatment as required by local, state and federal requirements.

Complies and performs within scope of practice as defined by state nursing practice act.

Notifying appropriate person about unusual symptoms and/or changes in condition of patient.

Assist with activity program such as exercise class, art, music, games, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned.



Requirements:

Ability to communicate in English effectively through verbal and written means. Spanish speaker is a plus.

Must be able to work as a team member.

Valid RI State LPN license.

Must be in good standing with State Registry..

Be able to comply with State and County licensing regulations

Minimum of 4 years nursing experience in a geriatric, clinical setting with supervisory responsibilities.

Current CPR certified

Clean Criminal Background Report.

Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations.

Part Time: Monday-Friday from 9:00am-2:00pm
