Job Responsibilities

• Function autonomously to conduct patient histories and physicals for complex critical, chronically ill, and acute patients.


• Order, perform, and analyze diagnostic and therapeutic tests concerning the needs of the patient, and follow up on a regular basis to ensure their needs are being adequately met.


• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to ensure the health and comfort of all patients.


• Implement measures to assist patients in regaining and sustaining physiologic endurance to include serving in the first assisting role.


• Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals and monitoring the effectiveness of all interventions.


• Facilitate the staff and the patient as well as the family decision-making process by providing educational tools for self-management of acute or chronic illnesses.

Locums, Inc. is seeking an Internal Medicine Physicians for full-time services in the Peridot, AZ area.  Assignment will be for 2 months.  Arizona state license required

 About the Opportunity:

- Period of Performance is approx. 9/1/20 to 10/30/20

- 4-10 hour or 5-8 hour shifts. No weekends or Holiday shifts or on-call time

- Outpatient clinic work only – no inpatient

- No trauma cases

Requirements:

- Active and unrestricted Arizona state license

- ABIM Board Certification preferred

- Must have strong Internal Medicine experience

- Active and unrestricted DEA
