We seek highly motivated individuals willing to work in a high-paced startup environment. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be a core part of our Hardware R&D team, working with the robots, and Embedded products. Position: Embedded Software Engineer Qualification: B.E/B.tech/M.E/ M.tech (EC, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, CSE) Total Experience : 0 - 2 The roles and responsibilities for the job will be as follows: Design and implement firmware of embedded devices and systems from requirements. Research & learn new technologies as necessary to improve the current product, solve problems and unlock new features. ROS implementation on the robot. Actuation & implementation of different types of end effect or on the robot motion. Introduce new features, improve controls, positioning, and navigation Virtual simulation of new features before implementation on the robot motion. The required skill set for the role will be: Hands-on experience in working on at least 2-3 Embedded projects Hands-on experience writing embedded firmware with Strong knowledge of C/C++ IPC Inter-Process Communication exposure is good to have (Multi-threading and Socket Programming). Experience with FreeRTOS, ARM Cortex series MCU Excellent knowledge of the IP protocols like I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, SDIO, LTDC, CAN, Ethernet interfaces, and hardware subsystems Work experience with RF protocols like Wi-Fi, BLE, Zigbee, Lora, and Z-wave will be a plus. knowledge of Gazebo, URDF Models, Manipulation, Motion Planning, and Robot Navigation. Working experience with Microprocessors like Arm A7/A9, Cortex A8/A15, Qualcomm, Intel, IMX, NXP, TI, etc will be a huge plus. Keep well informed of new features and products/services. Be proactive in understanding product/service roadmaps and the implications of new features with peer engineers or self-training.
