SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager for its client in Indianapolis, IN(link removed) The person will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing equipment performance, optimizing processes, and developing our technical team. This role involves managing maintenance strategies, implementing engineering solutions, and overseeing equipment upgrades. Relocation available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage equipment maintenance and ensure operational efficiency.


• Drive process improvements and implement automation projects.


• Lead and mentor the engineering and maintenance team.


• Coordinate equipment installations and upgrades.


• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols.


• Monitor and manage budgets related to engineering and maintenance activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering; A Masters degree is a plus.


• 10+ years of experience in engineering and maintenance, including food and beverage industry experience.


• Expertise in lean manufacturing, equipment installation, and automation and controls required.


• Strong leadership and team-building skills.


• Proficient in reading technical drawings and managing maintenance programs.


• Experience with high-speed packaging equipment required new plant startups preferred.


• Ability to manage budgets and projects, and to operate in a fast-paced environment.
