Job Description:

As a Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in building a high-quality loan portfolio while promoting the company's brand. This position requires a solid understanding of the agricultural market and a strong network within the local area. Your primary objective will be to support farmers' needs and contribute to the company's market share growth.

You will work closely with farmers, conducting regular visits to build relationships and generate new loans. Collaboration with the Senior Loan Officer and other team members will be essential in developing effective business strategies. Your expertise in agriculture and business development will be vital in achieving growth objectives and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Achieve growth objectives for the assigned location
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Support risk management and collection activities within the portfolio
• Assist with loan operations to ensure efficiency and a positive client experience
• Participate in loan and marketing efforts within the area/region
• Conduct regular visits with clients to build relationships and generate new loans
• Provide reports on loan operations and client interactions
• Collaborate with the Senior Loan Officer and team members to develop business strategies

Required Experience/Skills:

• Background in agriculture with business development experience
• 1-3 years of experience in credit and underwriting
• Ability to build relationships to promote loan volume and credit quality
• Self-motivated and driven
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with loan documentation

Nice-to-Haves:

• Advanced knowledge of agricultural markets and trends
• Experience in agricultural lending or related financial services
• Familiarity with agricultural technology and innovations

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, Finance, or any related fields.
