Data Engineer – Capstone Logistics, LLC – 30 Technology Parkway South, Suite 200, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092

Job Description:
Understand the business data needs, both current and future, to help deliver and guide a data strategy. Set and ensure proper adherence to strategic and tactical patterns. Set technical direction for obtaining and implementing technology. Help evaluate current and future staffing needs. Drive the creation of new standards and best practices as technology evolves. Communicate and drive adoption of new standards and best practices across the company. Drive creation of new data capabilities and offerings. Be responsible for both team collaboration as well as project initiative ownership and leadership. Contribute to both technical expertise as well as process leadership. Be responsible for the mentoring of Junior resources. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field required. Four years of heavy data experience across the full data life cycle required, including full data stack experience and experience in data movement, transformation, and modeling processes (ELT/ETL). Two years of experience working with large datasets or database systems required, including experience with traditional and modern data warehousing, with data lake patterns and processes, and with Relational Database Management System (RBDMS). One year of working with cloud data technologies required, including with storage, computation, movement orchestration, and reporting. May work remotely from any U.S. location. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
