Job Description 

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to manage and enhance cloud security operations across Azure, AWS, and OCI environments. This role is critical for ensuring the security, compliance, and efficient functioning of cloud infrastructures. You will work closely with application teams to identify and remediate security risks, enforce cloud security policies, and support cloud architecture reviews. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud security operations and a deep understanding of cloud network architectures.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of cloud security, identifying and addressing risks, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations in alignment with company standards(link removed)>
  • Collaborate with application teams to remediate cloud misconfigurations and, when necessary, execute the remediations directly.
  • Maintain, tune, and create custom cloud security policies to reduce false positives and ensure the security of cloud environments.
  • Facilitate cloud vulnerability management by working with cloud resource owners to ensure timely patching within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)(link removed)>
  • Participate in cloud architecture reviews for new solutions, ensuring they meet security requirements and standards.
  • Monitor and audit cloud environments to ensure they are secure and compliant.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security best practices and threat intelligence to continually improve the security posture.

Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of hands-on experience either designing cloud solutions or managing cloud security remediation activities in Azure, AWS, and OCI(link removed)>
  • Strong understanding of public cloud network architectures and their security implications.
  • Proven experience in identifying, analyzing, and remediating security misconfigurations in cloud environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with application and cloud teams to ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience conducting penetration testing of cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting cloud incident response activities, including investigation, analysis, and remediation.
  • Certifications in cloud security (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar) are a plus.
