At Specialty Innovations we are searching for a production coordinator t0 review incoming orders on a daily basis and create production work orders to fulfill sales requirements. Assess and manage the availability of components to complete production on schedule. Issue and expedite orders with suppliers to ensure components are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities of Production Coordinator

Procuring materials and components from suppliers to meet production requirements and ensuring seamless coordination for shipping and receiving processes.

Generate job sheets and communicate with production according to customer purchase orders and maintain various reports detailing work progress, and materials usage, utilizing both manual and computerized systems.

Manage inventory levels to ensure that materials are available for production as well as maintain the warehouse level to optimal capacity.

Collaborate with the production supervisor to plan production runs efficiently in terms of availability of components and order delivery time coordination.

Selection and visual inspection of components for BOMs.

Provide regular updates on production progress to management and other relevant stakeholders.

Record purchasing and job details and communicate with the accounting team to match the transactions made with suppliers.

Skills and Experience

A college certificate/diploma in supply chain management/project management or similar field, or relevant work experience. or

An Engineering background with some manufacturing/warehouse experience.

Thorough understanding of the office suite of products.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel would be beneficial.

Written and spoken English.
