Position Overview:

Flow is seeking a highly skilled and highly motivated Senior Data Scientist Intern to join our engineering organization. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advanced complex data science and data engineering, with a focus on Django, data collection, data extraction, data mining, and data processing, as well as AI training, DevOps, containerization, and cloud infrastructure. This position is ideal for individuals currently pursuing or have obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science with a strong background in data science and Django development. The internship is remote-only and requires a commitment of at least 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Data Management:

Data Extraction & Mining: Utilize tools like Django, Puppeteer, and Selenium to extract and mine data from various sources.
Data Collection, Processing & Cleaning: Collect, process, and clean data to ensure its quality and readiness for analysis.
Data Collection, Processing, and Cleaning:

Collect, process, and clean large datasets to ensure data quality and consistency.
Implement data pipelines for seamless data flow and transformation.
AI Training:

Train AI models using the collected and processed data.
Implement and fine-tune AI algorithms for various applications.
Data Scraping & Automation:

Develop and maintain data scraping tools using Puppeteer, Selenium, and HTML.
Extract valuable information from various sources and organize it for further analysis.
Automate data collection processes using containerized microservices with Docker.
Containerization & Microservices:

Containerize microservices using Docker for scalable deployment.
Ensure that all services are optimized for performance and security.

Requirements:

Experience:

2-3+ years of experience in data science.
Expert in Django back-end engineering.
Expert skills in data extraction, mining, processing, and analysis.
Hands-on experience with AI training.
Experience in data scraping using Puppeteer and Selenium.
Expert with HTML, web technologies, and containerizing microservices using Docker.
Expert understanding of QA methodologies, unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and API testing.
Technical Skills:

Expert in Django back-end engineering.
Expert with frameworks and tools like Django, Puppeteer, Selenium, and Docker.
Expert with data handling libraries and frameworks (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
Expert in version control systems with Git and Github.
