Director of Food and Beverage Location: US-SC-Hilton Head Island - 29928 Email Job

Director of Food and Beverage (Hilton Head Island, SC): Develop, revise, and implement comprehensive policies, standards, processes, and procedures for the operations of the Food and Beverage department, including food and beverage preparation and service. Provide updates and recommendations to senior management regarding new and existing policies, standards, procedures, and processes for dining and catering operations to ensure regulatory compliance. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the food preparation and service areas to ensure safe work practices. Observe employees to determine whether all State, Federal and corporate requirements pertaining to the service of alcoholic beverages are maintained and take remedial action as necessary. Identify areas of non-compliance, inefficiencies, and operational issues within the Food and Beverage department. Collaborate with hotel General Manager regarding the catering and dining operations to ensure conformity with all applicable corporate standards. Implement new directives as assigned by corporate headquarters.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field and 2 years of experience as Director of Food and Beverage, Food and Beverage Manager, Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, or related position. Experience resolving complex issues of food and beverage service department. Experience in food and beverage preparation. Experience maintaining operational issues.
