SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Chief Construction Estimator for its client in Sylmar, CA(link removed) The person will be responsible for managing all estimating activities for underground and heavy civil construction projects. You will lead a team, review project documents, and ensure accurate bids in collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and oversee estimating for underground and heavy civil projects.


• Review contract plans, specifications, and bid documents.


• Guide and supervise estimating team members.


• Obtain and analyze quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.


• Prepare and submit bid documents and proposals.


• Coordinate with project teams and partners.


• Ensure compliance with relevant requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or any related field.


• 10+ years of experience in underground and heavy civil construction.


• 5+ years of experience estimating in this field.


• Experience leading estimating teams.


• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
