Position Overview:




The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) directs and coordinates all activities concerned with the overall financial administration of the Hospital. They will oversee the functions of Accounting, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Patient Financial Services, Patient Admissions, and Supply Chain. The CFO is also responsible for the managed care operation of the hospital and the internal audit functions of all third-party cost reports and the year-end financial audits of the Hospital(link removed)>





Responsibilities:






  • Ensures Financial Services, including treasury functions, budgeting, charge master, and financial reporting are completed accurately and timely.




  • Ensures Patient Financial Services, including patient billing, financial counseling, and accounts receivable management is completed accurately and efficiently.








  • Management of third-party payer contracts is current and managed in a fiscally responsible manner.








  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the Hospitals fiscal function and performance.








  • Works in collaboration with other senior team members to prepare and submit comprehensive plans, related studies, special reports, and supervise the administration of implementation plans. These may include but are not limited to corporate compliance, Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory reporting.








  • Participates in annual development of the strategic planning process and on-going monitoring of the status of any strategic initiatives.








  • Work collaboratively with internal groups in the development of business plans for new services, enhancement, or revision of existing services and/or eliminating services rendered not needed.








  • Attends and provides reporting for Board of Trustee meetings, including materials applicable to relevant committees, working closely with the CEO.
