Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and creative Mechanical AutoCad Designer to join our dynamic team at DCS Group. As a Mechanical AutoCad Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for various mechanical components and systems. This is a full-time position based in Dera Bassi, Punjab, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical design using AutoCAD.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in mechanical design using AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in creating 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes for mechanical design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Experience with design simulation and analysis software is a plus.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Review and modify existing designs to improve functionality or meet project requirements.
  • Perform design calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure the integrity and performance of designs.
  • Prepare and maintain design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bill of materials.
  • Conduct testing and validation of designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure successful implementation of designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD software and technologies.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input for continuous improvement of design processes.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
