OB/GYN Physician Coverage Needed (ASAP - Feb 2025)

We are seeking a board-certified OB/GYN physician to provide locum tenens coverage for a physician on vacation. This is a great opportunity for a qualified physician to join a supportive team in a beautiful Hawaiian setting.

Practice Setting:

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
  
  
  
  • 13 beds and 1 Operating Room 
  
  
• Join a team of 3 other OB/GYN physicians, NP, PA, and MAs
  
  
  
  • Clinic is located next to the hospital
  
  

Schedule:

• Clinic is Tuesdays & Thursdays (8 am - 5 pm, appointments 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)
• Call is Thursdays, Saturdays, & Sundays (24-hour call, average 3 patients)
  
  
  
  • Can be at home/hotel with a 30-minute response time
  
  

Cases & Procedures:

• Routine well-woman exams, prenatal care, and gynecological procedures
• Hospital duties include deliveries, rounding, and consultations (no high-risk deliveries, referred out)
  
  
  
  • Tubal ligations are preferred, robotics is a plus (not required)
  
  

Requirements

• Hawaii state license required
• BLS & NRP certifications required
• Flexible credentialing timeframe
