Software Quality Assurance Test Lead (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract Software Quality Assurance Test Lead to join a premier distributor of automotive oils, chemicals, and consumable products. The Software Quality Assurance Test Lead will be responsible for defining and executing the overall test strategy, test scenarios, and test cases necessary to successfully launch the organization’s new eCommerce redesign.

Location: Remote

This job expects to pay about $65 - 76 per hour plus benefits.

What You Will Do:

• Define and execute the overall test strategy, test scenarios, and test cases necessary to successfully launch the organization’s new eCommerce redesign.
• Collaborate with the organization’s third-party implementation vendor to launch the new eCommerce design.
• Define and document a comprehensive test strategy and plan.
• Define and document relevant test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Coordinate the execution on test scenarios, including responsibilities for performing test scripts
• Create test script issues, communicate to appropriate owners, and track relevant KPIs through testing phases.

What Gets You The Job: 

• Strong software testing experience, with prior responsibilities in building test strategies and test plans that incorporate both 3rd party implementers and internal testing resources
• Strong test scenario and test execution experience.  Able to take features, user stories and other inputs to create documented test scenarios and associated scripts, ensuring traceability of testing to scope.
• Must have Agile experience and be familiar with user stories, sprint schedules, and unit testing.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.  This resource will be navigating a broad set of stakeholders and must demonstrate an ability to clearly communicate the test strategy, plan and ongoing test activities.
• Preference to individuals with prior experience with Jira Xray Test Management suite.
• Preference to individuals with prior eCommerce testing experience, especially on a Salesforce platform.
• Preference to individuals with prior experience managing user acceptance testing phase, including definition, execution management and reporting on UAT test status.
