Candidate Needs to Have:

Experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines.
Experience with database technologies and data development (e.g., Python, PLSQL).
Experience mentoring junior team members and adhering to best practices.
Strong background in writing test cases to ensure data quality and reliability.
Proven track record of advancing technologies to improve data quality and pipeline efficiency.
Expertise in query performance tuning, utilizing indexes, and materialized views.
Ability to identify business rules for data extraction and assess related technical risks.
Familiarity with best practices for data ingestion and data design.
Job Responsibilities:

The Data Engineer will lead the Enterprise Data Services team in transforming data from various systems to deliver insights and analytics for business stakeholders.
Deep understanding of the data lifecycle and its importance in applications, machine learning, business analytics, and reporting. Critical thinking, problem solving, and data transformation skills are essential.
Leveraging cloud based infrastructure, the role involves architecting, designing, implementing, and operating scalable, resilient, and efficient data engineering solutions.
