CONTRACT HEALTHCARE FINANCIAL ANALYST (W2 Direct Only)

4-5 Months+ opportunity for extension

ON SITE IN BOSTON

• Healthcare experience required


• Analyze monthly and quarterly data to identify trends and issues.


• Investigate problems and implement solutions.


• Develop, monitor, report and analyze key indicators for financial performance, income statements at the physician, division and department level.


• Use detail analysis to identify potential issues and resolve issues in a timely fashion.


• Act as a liaison for Administrators and Finance Team for resolution of financial issues in monthly financial reporting.


• Prepare, maintain, and distribute and present various ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by leadership.

Experience

• 1+ Years of Healthcare experience


• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or related field required.


• 3-5 years of financial experience is required.


• Ability to work independently in a complex, demanding environment


• Comprehensive understanding of financial statement preparation


• Broad knowledge of health care accounting and systems


• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills


• Excellent computer skills and experience on both a General Ledger System as well as comparable spreadsheet and word processing software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and other analytical tools)
