FutureLife Agricultural Products Ltd. was founded in 2016. We grow top-quality blueberry and fresh fruit such as apples, cherries and pears, peaches, watermelon, and also vegetables, etc. We are one of the largest producers of high-bush blueberries in Surrey, BC. Fresh blueberries are sold to Westberry farm and some packaged berries are exported to China. With our business expansion, we are seeking four general farm workers to join our company.

Main Duties:

Plant crops using hand tools and farm machines
Pick fruits and vegetables
Irrigate crops
Operate farm machines to cultivate, fertilize, spray and harvest
Detect disease/problems in crops and sprays with chemicals to control weed growth, insects, fungus growth and diseases
Maintain facilities and farm infrastructure such as equipment, road, etc.
Report signs of insect or disease damage.
Select and pick vegetables according to size and ripeness, and discard rotting and over-ripened product
Grade, sort, bunch and pack produce into containers
Handling heavy loads; Load or unload agricultural products into trucks
Clean working areas.
Adhering to hygienic and sanitation policies and follow all safety regulations
Performing other tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

Experience in farming is an asset
Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
Ability to work outdoors for the entirety of the shift
Ability to bend, walk, lift and crouch
Excellent physical health
Ability to repetitive tasks with a high level of quality
Able to work independently and as a team
Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
Formal education is not required
English is not required
