Job Duties:

Design and develop innovative methods of automating and taking remedial measures integrating with multiple technologies. Develop ArcSight security content including rules, reports, and dashboards to detect, respond, and handle incidents related to unauthorized activity, malware, and APTs. Develop new custom connectors to integrate site-specific data. Test and integrate ArcSight provided connectors. Integrate ArcSight event actions into other Client systems. Troubleshoot log source integration issues on servers, and active directory. Identify tactical intelligence relevant to systems. Creates threat hunting models for endpoints and network traffic. Works closely with security incident management to investigate threats and alerts and drive events to closure. Ability to embrace on-premises, SaaS, AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud technologies and develop alerts to monitor for security anomalies at scale. Identifies opportunity areas to increase efficiency and automate manual processes. Work with third party vendors for evaluating ArcSight content for various standards and framework. Train junior staff members and SOC analysts to understand how ArcSight deals with specific events and best practices for resolutions. Advice on best practice for resolving Audit findings. Work closely with junior team members and help to improve ArcSight content, reports and consolidate use cases to be more efficient. Work as Scrum Master to plan scope and conduct scrum ceremonies.

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field and 4 years of cybersecurity experience.

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in all the following:

· Security monitoring, threat hunting, or incident response;

· Scripting for automation content development using Python;

· Microsoft Windows or Linux Operating System; and

· Network security.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in all the following:

· Writing technical presentations and white papers;

· Preparing technical videos;

· Cloud deployment and experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP ;

· Creating solution designs and conduct design walkthroughs; and

· MITRE ATT&CK Framework, PCI, HIPAA, NIST, and NERC.
