Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team in Wilmington, NC. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to read blueprints, and a thorough understanding of electrical codes and safety standards. The Commercial Electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and testing electrical systems in commercial buildings, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Adhere to local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing effective solutions for repairs and maintenance.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or relevant technical training is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a commercial electrician.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment related to electrical work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
