- Requires a Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related therapeutic field. Licensed or currently pursuing licensure in state of Minnesota and receiving clinical supervision toward such
- LGSW license if you have obtained a Social Work degree
- Two years of experience in behavioral healthcare is preferred
- Must have knowledge of DSM-IV criteria
- Skill in interviewing and assessment
- Display a professional attitude in all aspects of his/her performance
- Skills to communicate clearly and effectively with Clinical Directors and professionals within other organizations
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office Products including Word and Outlook
- Must have reliable transportation and telephone
- Ability to smoothly and rapidly shift between dissimilar tasks
- Skills to communicate well both verbally and in writing
- Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team to handle volatile and potentially emergency situations
- Ability to make effective decisions while in stressful situations and circumstances
- After training, be able to manage disruptive and explosive patients.
- Associate level license in State of Minnesota (LAMFT, LGSW, LPC) preferred.
