Job description:

The Scaler/Baker is responsible for gathering, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to quality guidelines while maintaining accuracy and consistency. This role requires adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Scaler, you'll play a key role in maintaining product quality standards, ensuring each batch meets our high-quality standards, and supporting various production departments. Safety, food safety procedures, and a high heat tolerance are essential in this manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Follow the production schedule as directed by the Production Supervisor.

2. Gather, measure, and mix ingredients using appropriate bins/containers.

3. Ensure accurate and consistent weighing of ingredients, making necessary weight conversions.

4. Transport ingredients as required within the facility.

5. Float between production stations to maintain product quality standards.

6. Collaborate with the production team to manage product quality and recipes.

7. Conduct quality and accuracy checks on each batch to meet our high-quality standards.

8. Provide support to other production departments as needed.

9. Assist in maintaining production equipment and keeping the production area clean.

10. Adhere to all company policies, including GMP, Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and more.

11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

- Weekend work may be required

Pay is C$17.5/hr
