Job Duties: Perform engineering research and development (R&D) as a key contributor to regulations, standards, and the quality management system. Design and create models and production drawings using Solidworks. Engage with vendors to perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability). Create inspection procedures. Perform first article inspections. Create test protocols. Perform product testing. Maintain Design History Records and engineering data for FDA submissions. Provide research support for 510K submissions. Telecommuting and remote employment permitted. Salary: $90,000 - $103,500.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: 1) Mechanical Design; 2) Finite Element Analysis (FEA); 3) Mechanical Testing; 4) Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T); 5) Rapid Prototyping; 6) SolidWorks; 7) ANSYS; 8) ABAQUS; and 9) Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
