Job Description: IT/ OT Network EngineerMuskegon, MI ONSITE 5 days a week3 - 6 months with potential of extensionNo OTStandard LaptopBGV Initiated (drug test must be cleared)Must Have's:1. IT experienced with windows server knowledge, VMWare virtualisation and ideally some firewall/networking Awareness of Quality Assurance Processes and GAMP and IT Security/cybersecurity.2. Good knowledge of routing, switching and bridging protocols such as BGP, RIP, VLANs, etc.3. Good knowledge and understanding of network design including switches, firewalls, and security (Cisco and Palo Alto)JD:Support design of servers and network infrastructure for client (link removed)stall, configure, and maintain new / existing network infrastructure hardware, including configuration of virtual networks.Assist with the implementation of new/upgraded systems and/or virtualisation.Perform Qualification testing on new / existing systems.Disaster Recovery testingBuild of Host Server and failover ClustersKnowledge of Antivirus & Security, Active Directory, Time Syncronization and Backup & RecoverySet up Remote Access setupSupport FAT with CustomerSupport site commissioning in MuskegonSupport Vendor with installation and connection to OT Services (MES, PI, Data Analytics, DCS, PLC/SCADA)Additional:Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Server and Workstation Operating Systems (Server 2008/2012/2016, Microsoft Windows 7/10) and Linux/Container technologies.Experience working with Hyper-V, VMWare desired.Good knowledge of wireless technology including design and deployment.Excellent opportunity for a hands-on role with a collaborative client and supported by our strong internal OT engineer team.This is strongly an IT role.
