Our Client: Large non-profit providing healthcare and social services with operations in 4-states and over 400 full time employees.

Location: Philadelphia, PA - Hybrid Office Schedule of at least 3-days in the office per week

Position: Director of Finance

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $100,000-$115,000

Responsibilities:

• The Dir. of Finance is responsible for managing the Fiscal Department of a nonprofit health care organization. This includes supervising the Accounting department (5-7) GL Accounting, Payroll, AP, AR.


• The Director of Finance reports to the CFO and supervises financial statement and financial reporting process on a monthly and quarterly basis.


• The position is responsible for overseeing the annual budget process, general accounting, payroll and accounts payable functions.


• Supervises the posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledger to subsidiary accounts.


• Previous automated General Ledger experience required, Experience with Solomon preferred.


• Ensures financial reporting meets the governmental accounting standards


• Responsible for providing all required schedules and documents needed for the annual CPA audit.


• The position provides financial analysis and reports required for strategic planning, financing and or refinancing real estate or other projects.


• The position is responsible for evaluating and making recommendations for the improvement of internal control systems to senior management.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance


• Exposure to 990 tax filings a plus


• 5+ years Accounting experience within a non-profit or healthcare provider


• Experience with Solomon ERP system is a plus


• Leadership skill - management of AP, AR, PR staff in total 5-7 direct reports.


• Experience with medical billing, ICD-10 a plus


• Ability to pick up processes quickly, work with minimal supervision, quick learner, eagerness to advance upward through strong work ethic


• Computer skills Excel, MS Office Suite
