iZeal, Inc. is currently seeking an ETL Tester for our client's requirement. The salary depends on experience. Title: ETL Tester Location: Washington, DC Duration: 6+ Months Type: W2 SKILLS REQUIRED: Ten (10) or more years of directly related experience. Five (5) Yrs minimum ETL Testing experience with solid working knowledge on Advanced SQL Queries. Five (5)+ years of experience developing test strategies, test plans, test case gathering techniques, using automated and test management tools, and developing manual and automated test scripts. Five (5)+ years of experience with multiple system reconciliation, analyzing ETL Mapping documents. Five (5) + years of hands on QA testing experience in client server and/or web-based environment. Demonstrated experience with project management software, third party testing tools, change management tools, software development in an agile environment and development frameworks. Demonstrated RDBMS experience (i.e, Oracle, SQL Strong technical documentation experience. Experience testing financial applications and understanding of accounting principles is desired. Experience in designing and implementing end to end automation frameworks is desired. Strong SQL, python and ETL concepts such as 3NF, Dimensional models, facts loads, surrogate key, joins, data comparison across tables, automated job executions. Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of business processes supported by software systems/products. Documents business processes; develops training programs, documents, and materials. Analyzes and documents as-is and to-be scenarios (processes, models, use cases, plans and solutions Analyze business and system requirements to design automation plans, develop automation scripts, setting up test Environment and Analyzing test Results. Lead software automation, provide expertise to multiple projects and ensure that specifications are met. Leads and manages test case reviews, design reviews, and change control activities. Creates and contributes to test plans, test requirements, test scenarios, and test data for use during all testing phases of the software development lifecycle, for new and existing software systems/products. Ensures that test plans and scenarios fully exercise every aspect of the product. Produces, manages, and presents formal test plans; leads the testing effort for assigned projects. Documents and reports issues discovered during testing, and follows up for resolution. Defines and implements standards, methods and procedures quality assurance activities. Conducts and effectively participates in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
