Work Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM EST.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works collaboratively to research, design, implement, deploy and operate systems. Oversees code releases and improves planning of test and deployment.
Automates software deployment processes by developing tools and releasing incremental updates.
Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues in development, test, and production environments and processes. Coordinates and collaborates to increase effectiveness.
Supports multiple platforms. Handles issues, providing guidance and recommendations to increase efficiency and reduce incidents. Develops tooling and processes and creates playbooks to drive and improve overall productivity and effectiveness.
Increases system responsiveness and monitors application performance by anticipating and correcting operational issues before their occurrence.
Refines operating environments by continuously improving the infrastructure to be easily deployable and scalable.
EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

15+years of experience requried
Knowledge of agile methodology, development processes and programming languages.
Organized with ability to coordinate and collaborate across various lines of business/functional units and stakeholders.
Understands the software development lifecycle and various automation tools for developing digital pipelines; automation experience with configuration/deployment management systems.
Curiosity and willingness to learn and explore new concepts, ideas and areas.
Ability to use a variety of open source technologies and cloud services.
Working understanding of coding and scripting; flexibility to respond to ongoing, ever-changing processes.
Knowledge of best practices and technology operations in an always-up, always-available service.
Decision-making ability.
Knowledge of application and system architectures.
Typically, 5-6+ years related experience.

AWS full stack knowledge ( Infrastructure as Code - Able to develop AWS templates from scratch all the way to PROD deploys), AWS certifications
Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (Creating Jenkins jobs to build and deploy)
Experience with Security Best Practices, Monitoring and Logging tools (Datadog, New relic)
