Pay Rate: Up to $45/hr for licensed Millwrights, up to $35/hr for unlicensed Millwrights

Career1 Staffing Agency is seeking skilled and experienced Millwrights to join our client's maintenance team. If you are a dedicated professional with a strong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, we want to hear from you!

Position Summary: As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, changing layouts, and setting up heavy machinery. You will maintain and repair production equipment and facilities, ensuring the highest performance of the production machinery. This role requires significant experience in reading blueprints, interpreting pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, and using tool room equipment such as drill presses, lathes, and grinders.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair production equipment and facilities.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production machinery, including presses, spinning machines, CNC machines, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, and tool room machines such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders.
Diagnose problems and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems for production equipment.
Perform gas and electric welding.
Ensure all work and inspections are properly documented.
Set up and operate tool room machinery.
Follow all safety precautions and procedures as per OSHA Section 28 Subsection (1) (a) (b) (c) and (d).
Report any absence or defect in equipment or protective devices, and any hazards to the employer or supervisor.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Millwright Trade Certificate (Ontario)
Experience: At least 5 years of experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, preferably within an automotive environment.
Skills and Competencies:

Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
Skilled in using tool room equipment such as drill presses, lathes, and grinders.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to perform gas and electric welding.
Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Organizational Relationship: This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is accountable for the effective discharge of responsibilities.
