Responsible for managing all hands-on operational aspects of the Company; provides leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the organization has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and staffing systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiencies; works closely with the executives to develop and accomplish goals and strategic plans established by board members; oversees the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes; identifies external opportunities that leverage the strengths of the organization with the goals of the strategic plan; spearhead entity consolidation and legal restructuring of the various businesses; collaborates with the senior management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives; responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external; provides timely, accurate and complete reporting on the operating condition; motivates and manages teams, mentors direct reports to cultivate skills, create accountability and to capture operating efficiencies; identifies and develops a pay for performance plan that recruits and retains the highest quality employees, engages employees in the organization's success, communicates and reinforces the values, goals and objectives set, rewards contributors for successful achievements.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Management. Must have two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Director of Operations.
Two (2) years of experience (inclusive of experience required heretofore) must have included the following:
1) Contributing to strategic planning of a business or organization;
2) Planning to increase profitability and productivity of a business and defining contingency plans to mitigate external factors or weaknesses; and
3) Mentoring employees.
