Our organization is looking to hire an experienced and highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and complete financial records using accounting software
- Record all financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank deposits
- Reconcile all bank and credit card statements and ensure all accounts are reconciled each month
- Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting activities and analysis
- Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal tax and regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate and complete records
- Provide reports and financial data to management as required
- Collaborate with other accounting and finance team members to ensure that all deadlines are met

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting or related field
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience with relevant accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and data entry skills
- Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial information
