Responsibilities
The Quality Manager provides support to production in the forms of: repeat quality testing of in plant processes, SPC data analysis, monitoring productions build compliance to quality standards, participation in continuous improvement projects. This position will spend time working in a quality lab and on the production floor. The Quality Manager has the following specific areas of responsibility.

1. SAFETY: The Quality Manager will conduct work within the bounds defined by the client safety manual, and is responsible for incidents that may occur due to deviations from the safety manual.

This may include:
 Knowing and understanding the documented procedures within the client safety manual

2. SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Performs assignments of a routine nature, in addition to redefining existing standards while creating new one. Verification of build through Initial Sample Inspection Reports and random spot inspections throughout daily operations. Maintains SPC database and control charts to be reported on a regular basis.

This may include:
 Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes
 Developing SPC test methods
 Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability tests
 Participate in Engineering design reviews
 Participate in Production Meetings
 Setup Quality dept. procedures and test criteria
