Cox Automation is seeking a Software Test Engineer I. This role involved performing automation testing, designing and maintaining test frameworks, and implementing industry best practices. The ideal candidate will continuously seek to improve existing frameworks, test suites, and processes to enhance efficiency across multiple teams.Responsibilities Actively perform testing efforts for automated activities across supported applications. Responsible for API, mobile and web automation. Handle a range of testing activities including designing and maintaining test suites, executing test scenarios with automation first approach, developing automated regression tests in industry standard testing frameworks. Providing testing expertise, advice, and guidance, while monitoring emerging technologies. Write, debug, and execute code in regression tests. Debug supported applications end to end Participate in our SDLC testing strategy, test data management strategy, and the quality of the supported applications. Follow processes and best practices for testing, as well as manage the lifecycle for any discovered defects. Understand the challenges that delivery and operations teams face in their day-to-day work and partner with them to create effective solutions. Coordinate regression test automation activities across supported applications. Technology We Use: Java, PostgreSQL, Appium, Selenium Web driver, Lambda Test, TestNG, Git, GitHub Actions, Rally, AWS/Azure/GCP, Bash, New Relic, Splunk, Firebase, Salesforce, and PagerDuty.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in a related field. Hands on experience in mobile & web automation, software test tools & processes, building & updating frameworks, and consumer-facing applications & databases. Experience in quality testing cloud platform like Sauce Labs, Browser stack or Lambda Test. Experience in testing cloud-based Web and Mobile Applications. Proficiency with scripting and configuration tools, agile development methodologies, analysis, design, and programming. USD 64,200.00 - 96,400.00 per yearCompensation:Compensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
