Job Overview

This is a senior-level position with a focus on AWS data engineering. The candidate should have 7 to 10 years of experience in data engineering and be proficient in AWS, Python, SQL, Apache, and Hadoop. The job location is Pune, Maharashtra, India, and the employment type is Full-Time.

Qualifications and Skills

• 7 to 10 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on AWS.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services and tools, such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Athena.
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, for data engineering tasks.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with Apache Hadoop and related technologies, such as Spark and Hive.
• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure AWS data engineering solutions.
• Building data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Optimizing data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues and maintaining data integrity.
• Monitoring and ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of AWS data engineering infrastructure.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in AWS data engineering.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior data engineers in the team.
