Type Full Time Location Chariton, IA Contact Stephanie Bear Email (e-mail removed) Description: Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in one unit on a particular shift, including functioning in Charge Nurse role. Responsible for orientation, training, and management of personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills. Days and Shifts: Mainly Monday-Friday Day Shift 8:00am-4:30pm Department: Emergency Department Requirements Educational/Experience: Current Iowa Registered Nurse licensure 2-5 years Emergency Department RN experience Healthcare Provider BLS ACLS & TNCC required within 12 months of employment Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification required within 6 months of employment Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well Preferred: Supervisory experience NRP & PALS preferred
