Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer Location: Mississauga client location or Candidate will work Remotely but should be based out of Canada. Description: Mission As an SFDC (Salesforce) Technical Lead, you will join the Product Development, Integration, and Engineering chapter, which is dedicated to fostering excellence and mastery in innovative software product development capabilities. Our mission is to provide comprehensive software development and integration expertise, as well as technology leadership, across various business and foundational teams to harness technology for the betterment of patient outcomes. We are committed to utilizing rapid prototyping techniques, technology consulting, and advisory services to address specific software solution challenges. In your role as an SFDC Technical Lead, you will be responsible for spearheading the technical architecture and design of Salesforce solutions, encompassing customization, configuration, and seamless integration with other systems. Your expertise will be pivotal in upholding best practices and ensuring the delivery of high-quality code. As a mentor and coach to the development team, you will provide ongoing technical guidance, conduct thorough code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Your role as a Salesforce Technical Lead will extend beyond technical execution to encompass strategic collaboration with business stakeholders. You will engage in in-depth analysis of business processes and requirements, leveraging your Salesforce expertise to translate needs into robust, scalable, and sustainable solutions. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, enhancing user experience, and ultimately delivering value to the organization and its stakeholders. As a thought leader in the Salesforce domain, you will actively participate in architectural and design discussions, leveraging your expertise to make recommendations for technical enhancements and improvements. It will be incumbent upon you to remain at the forefront of the latest Salesforce features and technologies, serving as a key resource for best practices, industry trends, and innovative solutions that can drive business success. What you'll be working on: Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, including customization, configuration, and integration with other systems. Provide technical guidance and support to the development team, ensuring best practices and high-quality code. This includes mentoring and coaching team members, as well as conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions. This involves conducting a thorough analysis of business processes and needs and then leveraging Salesforce capabilities to address those needs. Participate in architectural and design discussions, and make recommendations for technical improvements. This may involve evaluating different Salesforce features and assessing their applicability to specific business requirements. Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and technologies, and provide expertise on best practices and industry trends. This includes actively participating in the Salesforce community, attending relevant conferences or webinars, and continuously enhancing knowledge and skills. The ideal candidate: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect are highly desirable. Proven experience in Salesforce development and implementation, with a focus on Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and integration with external systems. Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components is a strong plus. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices, including a deep understanding of data modeling, security, and user interface design. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. The ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is essential. Can challenge requirements in a constructive way to contribute to the goal of reducing maintenance efforts and ensuring upgradability by keeping complexity and customization to a minimum. Must Have Skills (a) Advanced programing skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and SOSL (b) Strong experience with Service Cloud features, including Service Console, Omni-Channel, Live Agent, Knowledge, and Case Management. (c) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment
