About the Opportunity:

• Diverse Case Mix: Gain valuable experience in a variety of surgical settings, including endoscopy, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, general surgery, vascular surgery, orthopedics, ENT, acute pain management, and outpatient procedures.


• Work-Life Balance: Maintain a healthy work-life balance with daytime operating room hours (7 am to 3 pm) and predictable call coverage (every 3rd night).


• Collaborative Environment: Work within a supportive team of 4 experienced CRNAs in a 3-OR facility utilizing the MedAxion electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures, including endoscopy, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, general surgery, vascular surgery, orthopedics, ENT, pain management, and outpatient procedures.


• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Perform spinal anesthesia, nerve blocks, and epidural procedures with proficiency.


• Maintain accurate case logs and documentation.


• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in anesthesia practices and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current national certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).


• Active New Mexico state licensure.


• Current DEA registration and Controlled Substances Registration (CSR).


• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital setting providing anesthesia services.


• Proficient in performing spinal anesthesia, nerve blocks, and epidural procedures.


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.


• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.


• Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or comply with state exemption requirements.
