Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Public Relations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining a favorable public image for the company by communicating programs, accomplishments, and/or points of view. You will work closely with the PR Manager and other members of the communications team to develop and implement effective PR strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the company's brand and reputation.
- Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers.
- Coordinate and manage media requests and interviews.
- Monitor media coverage and report on PR metrics.
- Organize and manage PR events, including press conferences and media tours.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Handle crisis communications and develop strategies to manage potential PR issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in public relations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or communications within the United States.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in PR software and tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater).
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital PR strategies.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in public relations, consumer electronics, hardware, and AI.
-Capable of working on-site in Seattle, WA.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in tech, preferred 2C big tech mix with start-up.
- Familiarity with SEO and content marketing.
- Proven track record of successful PR campaigns.
-Startup experience preferred, with the ability to build PR from the ground up.
-Experience in the consumer electronics industry.
- With experience at a Tier 1 company.
- Experience with product launches.
- Preference given to U.S. citizens or green card holders.


Compensation and Benefits:

-Competitive base salary ranging from $180,000 to $220,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
