Job Description As an Analytical Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in qualifying gas systems for production use in semiconductor manufacturing. Your primary responsibility will be to use testing equipment to take samples and assess the purity within these systems. This position requires a high level of integrity, as safety is a top priority and all test results must be accurate. Your day-to-day activities will involve working closely with other technicians and engineers to complete system qualifications efficiently without compromising on quality. You'll be responsible for filling out accurate testing reports for customers and maintaining organized tools and equipment. Additionally, you'll collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve coding issues, as well as track and document all testing defects and resolutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and passionate about maintaining high standards in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Duties and Responsibilities
- Qualify gas systems for production use in semiconductor manufacturing using testing equipment
- Complete system qualifications efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Fill out accurate testing reports for customers
- Keep tools and equipment organized and neat
- Work with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve coding issues
- Track and document all testing defects and resolutions
- Communicate effectively with other technicians and trades
- Plan work ahead of time and prioritize tasks
- Lift up to 50 pounds when required
- Walk up to 10 miles per day as needed
- Work in fab environments for extended periods
Required Experience/Skills
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- Past high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor facilities experience (mandatory)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and walk up to 10 miles per day
- Willingness to work in fab environments for extended periods
- Strong teamwork skills
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with relevant testing equipment
- Knowledge of gas purity testing procedures
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Experience in writing technical reports
