Data Entry Clerk

Location: Edmonton, AB (10 Minutes West)

Our company is an independently owned and Alberta-based transportation company operating throughout Western Canada. We have been serving the transportation, construction, petrochemical, agricultural, and forestry industries for over 40 years.

We are seeking an experienced data entry clerk to join our finance and administration team.

Role Overview

We are looking for a mature reliable candidate with data entry skills. The main duties for this role include timely and accurate collection of data for input into Excel and Word documents and reviewing records for accuracy.  

This position also requires that you assist with duties at the reception desk.

Hours are from Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• Transfer handwritten data to Excel or Word documents
• Enter data according to specified format
• Verify accuracy and completeness of data

Must have Qualifications

• Strong MS Excel and data/formula skills
• Ability to work independently
• Diligent and responsible
• Excellent fast computer skills
• Analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills
• Capable of working 40 hours a week
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Experience handling confidential information and the enforcement of data privacy rules
• A post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent work experience an asset

Salary/Benefits

• $24 - 28 an hour based on qualifications
