Job Title: Enterprise Messaging System Administrator Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL- (100% onsite) Visa: USC/GC Duration: 6 months Must-have skills: 4+ y of exp with systems and security administration of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Active Directory; exp with Microsoft SCCM and/or Windows server administration; exp working in and supporting public safety organizationsCERTIFICATIONS : CJIS certification Level 4 or higher or the ability to obtain and maintainthe certification within 10 business days of employment.PLEASE SEND LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY (registered and currently located in Fort Lauderdale, FL).Requirements:Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Fort Lauderdale, FL(required);Experience with systems and security administration of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Active Directory in an enterprise environment.(4+ years)Maintain CJIS certification Level 4 or higher, or the ability to obtain and maintain the certification within 10 business days of employment.Possession and maintenance of a valid Florida driver's license throughout employment without restrictions that may affect job performance.Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM. Windows server administration.Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds).Ability to perform tasks involving extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.Preferred:Experience working in and supporting public safety organizations.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Support and administer all messaging platforms, including Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid environment, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft 365, Active Directory administration, messaging archivers, and text message capture.Architect, design, deploy, install, configure, modify, administer, maintain, monitor, optimize, upgrade, update, patch, virtualize, secure, protect, migrate, interface, test, document, troubleshoot, and remedy messaging systems to support daily and strategic operations.Manage vendor relationships for messaging systems, hold monthly communication meetings, perform quarterly system health checks, ensure systems are up-to-date and on supported versions, and maintain vendor annual maintenance and support.Author, review, revise, and update technical documentation related to messaging systems, including reviewing contracts, writing technical statements of work, creating policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.Provide troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for Level 2 and 3 requests related to messaging systems, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.Collaborate with the ITD Project Management Office on messaging system projects and initiatives, mentor and coach other ITD team members, and work with the ITD Cybersecurity team to ensure messaging systems meet cybersecurity requirements.Monitor and report on the progress and benefits of implemented technologies, stay current with the latest threats and vulnerabilities, and provide on-call support for messaging-related issues after normal business hours.
