Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will manage work packages to ensure project deliverables are met through close collaboration with various IT teams, including Infrastructure, Network Services, Service Support, and IT Operations. You will work with Application Development and Business Unit teams, providing guidance to ensure client software and services are designed, tested, documented, implemented, enhanced, and maintained according to operations standards and expected service quality. This role will start as a 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities: Manage work packages and ensure project deliverables are met Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Network Services, Service Support, and IT Operations teams Provide guidance to Application Development and Business Unit teams to ensure adherence to operations standards and service quality Deliver Tier 3 proactive and reactive service and performance management for mission-critical systems and client systems Respond to real-time performance alerts and resolve performance problems Conduct regular performance data analysis to identify current and potential future performance issues Ensure proper selection and deployment of technologies Create and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency Recruit and retain motivated, skilled team members Required Qualifications: Extensive experience with VMWare Virtualization and Azure Administration Experience with priority protocol and knowledge of cyber-related terminology Intermediate-level Microsoft experience Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Additional Information:This is a 12-month hybrid position, requiring 2 days onsite and 3 days remote work per week
