A healthcare facility in Illinois is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage on an ongoing basis. This assignment has no call requirements and a high earning potential, with provided travel and lodging.  

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient medical setting
• Approximately 40 patients are seen per 24 hours (20 per 12-hour shift), based on a yearly volume of 14,664 patients
• 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support provided

Schedule:

• Coverage needed for 3-5 shifts per month with ongoing coverage
• Shifts are 12 hours each (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM / 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM)

• Types of cases include those with an admission rate of 7%, and participation in EDAP & Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Initiatives

Qualifications:

• Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician 
• ABEM certification required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA 
• Minimum 2 years of experience
