Enable and support the data and reporting needs for the finance team. Report to the Manager of Finance Bl Analytics. Distill and extract insights from data to create value and unlock the potential of data to drive business decisions and value. Standardize KPls, operational metrics, and executive reports. Build out automated data pipelines and tools to elevate our existing data-processes. Engage with senior leadership and other stakeholders to collect critical requirements, identify potential solutions, and implement them. Translate high-level business strategy into standardized reports, dashboards, and data needs Automate and maintain data-pipelines in Python and SQL to extract monthly finance KPls Build end-to-end data products to support deep dives which identify drivers for business trends (from pipeline to interface). Assure data quality through defining and monitoring data governance policies. Present data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help drive business strategy. Transform raw data sources into data sources that are usable for analyses through ETL best practices. Work closely with producers of data sources (Data Engineering) to develop a deep understanding of SimpliSafe's data, how it is populated and stored, and what it means. Position is fixed based in Boston, MA; however, telecommuting permitted up to 3 days per week.

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm
One (1) year of data analytics experience. Experience must include:

One (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Data analytics or business intelligence;
- SQL;
- Python or similar scripting language;
- Automating Bl reports and developing ETL pipelines;
- Tableau or similar Bl tools;
- Experience with Cloud services;
- Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating solutions for system and management reporting issues.
Requires a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Analytics, Data Analytics Engineering, Data Science, or a directly related quantitative field
