PayPal, Inc. seeks Machine Learning Engineer 3 in New York, NY

Job Duties: Develop state-of-the-art Machine Learning solutions to solve impactful business problems. Work with partners to formulate business challenges into data science and machine learning problems and recommend actionable insights for solutions delivered. Produce and automate large-scale end-to-end data solutions in close collaboration with PayPal’s engineering teams. Utilize familiarity with relevant machine learning frameworks and packages such as Tensorflow and PyTorch, as well as with GCP/Hadoop and big data experience. Experience/familiarity with Deep learning, reinforcement learning, graph modeling, Learning to Rank, Recommendations, growth marketing models, and Regression modeling. Communicate with business and engineering partners to exchange requirements, explain solution methodologies, and influence with insights. Possess knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, SQL, Hive, etc.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Base salary: $142,563-$204,600. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
