POSITION: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (#726850E)
LOCATION: BOSTON, MA

Will develop and implement cross-platform front end applications using the latest React Native version, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, with source code frameworks like Git, IDEs like Visual Studio Code, and npm. Integrate mobile specific APIs and third-party libraries when needed to achieve desired functionality. Deploy mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, iOS to AppStore and Android to Google Play Store. Build and deploy applications using Continuous Integration/ Deployment (CI/CD) tools. Implement security features and protocols to the mobile application. Examples include encryption, JWT and 2FA. Understand and utilize state management libraries such as Redux to update the data in the mobile app. Handle offline storage using keychain, persisting data on the front-end using caching. Implement Test Driven Development using Jest for unit and test framework. Develop component-based project structure using standard design patterns like singleton, MVC, Component Design Pattern, and Façade Design Pattern. Code reviews using tools like Git Pull Request technique, coding guideline, standards for the code written in React Native. Integrate UI pages with Rest API written in Java/NodeJS, subscribe to REST API responses and manipulate the data as per business logic and display on front end. Understand the UX standards and developing UI which is compatible/responsive and ensuring smooth user experience across various devices such as Laptops, Mobile phones and Tablets. Perform the code quality check through code reviews on Github or through peer programming. Optimize mobile app performance by utilizing Flipper Tool Kit for debugging.

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent education in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience in Software Engineering.
