POSITION: SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER (#715814E)
LOCATION: BOSTON, MA

Will perform Agile testing and reviewing the stories and participating in Daily Scrum, Sprint Kickoff, Review Meetings and Release Planning meeting and used JIRA Tool. Extensively using cucumber to achieve BDD and writing features, Scenarios, Scenario Outlines, Step Definitions using Gherkin and Java. Using Intellij as IDE and working on selenium along with Java for writing automation scripts. Developing Automation Framework that uses java, Selenium WebDriver, and JUnit. Performing automation on REST services using Rest Assured and tested both xml and JSON format. Manually testing REST API’s using POSTMAN, Stratum, and Insomnia tools. Testing Web Services like soap and restful using SoapUI. Used Java JSON also to test Restful. Validated SOAP and XML responses using different SoapUI Assertions. Performing Data Base Testing on Oracle database writing, executing SQL queries to conduct data Integrity tests. Write Java and JDBC Code to automate Database testing. Scripting SQL queries for data validation and to verify the data integrity in the database (Back-end testing). Creation of a complete automated framework integrated with Jenkins to support DevOps pipeline. Using GitHub as code repository on daily basis for performing commits, push, pull and resolving merge conflicts. Using Jenkins as a CI/CD tool for performing daily regression. Developing DataDog Synthetic Monitoring & Continuous testing for monitoring all the API’s. Using SonarQube to help detect and resolve technical debt and code smells.

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and two years of experience, pre or post Masters degree, in the Software Industry.
