POSITION: SR. SYSTEMS ANALYST (#715844E)
LOCATION: BOSTON, MA

Will implement Swift messaging according to yearly standards. Support and maintenance of Trading and Performance applications as well as SSRS reporting enhancements. Deliver consistent and reliable data for investments operations such as performance, risk, and attribution, through reporting and different applications. Oversee and ensure timely software releases for the stakeholders and manage the release process from development, test, stage, and production environments. Collaborate with Business leaders in their functional areas and IT partners to help define business requirements for technological solutions that support complex business processes, delivering high quality and timely information to support the business solution. Help discover and define the problem statement, evaluating the solution options and making recommendations, creating detailed design, process artifacts and implementing the software deployment plan, supporting knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that meet business needs using Scrum. Support in the creation and validation of recommended test scripts and scenarios working with QA team members for large cross functional projects. Organize and facilitate scrum events such as Daily Scrum to track and aligned the development team with the sprint goal. Provide working software demos (Sprint Demo/Review) to show technical implementation strategies to all level audiences while creating the opportunity for stakeholders to inspect the increment and adapt the Product Backlog, if necessary. Facilitate Sprint Retrospective where the work outcome, interactions, tools, and processes are evaluated. In pursuance of continuous improvement this session data is gathered, insights generated, and action items created. Oversee the definition of Epics, Features and User Stories to convey changes to a system or process as well as to implement new functionalities in the current product. Enable the creation of dependencies maps and plan actions items to solve them with other teams and apply lessons learned. Continuously support existing CI/CD/Test pipelines and processes. Actively identify areas of improvement and conceptualize methods on how to be more efficient. Root Cause Analysis Facilitator to identify appropriate solutions and avoid any problems in the future.

Position requires up to 100% domestic travel. This position is for full-time, salaried (W-2), permanent employment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field and 5 years of experience in the Software industry.
