Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team at Optical Arc Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in data analysis and be well-versed in Python, PowerBI, data modeling, data mining, machine learning, SQL, big data technologies (Hadoop/spark), data analysis (Python/R), and Tableau. This is a remote position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in Python, PowerBI, data modeling, data mining, and machine learning
• Strong SQL skills to manipulate and analyze complex datasets
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
• Knowledge of data analysis using Python or R
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions
• Design, develop, and maintain data models and databases
• Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using PowerBI and Tableau
• Utilize Python, R, and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Apply machine learning algorithms to perform predictive and prescriptive analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical solutions
• Identify data quality issues and implement data cleansing and validation techniques
