Position: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Conyers, GA



Works with Inside Sales, Engineering and Production to design and engineer refrigeration equipment. Modify existing and the creation of AutoCAD electrical schematic drawings. Create Bills of Material for jobs. Evaluates, tests, documents result and modifies experimental equipment, concepts, and systems. Formulate and recommend engineering policies and technical work in accordance with project objectives. Apply engineering theory to solve electrical problems. Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Direct and coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations. Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.



Minimum Requirements:



Employer requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate engineering experience in motor control/refrigeration circuit design/3 phase power design or PLC control design.



Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 3 years of engineering experience in motor control/refrigeration circuit design/3 phase power design or PLC control design.



Of the required experience, must have:



· 2 years of experience in HVAC or Refrigeration equipment design of electrical diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical design software;

· 1 year of experience using SolidWorks to create general product 3D modeling for use in HVAC or Refrigeration equipment;

· 1 year of experience with electrical wiring diagrams, layouts, and component design of equipment for HVAC or Refrigeration;

· 1 year of experience designing, constructing, and testing prototype equipment and/or components for electrical functionality;

· 1 year of experience in software programing using Python, HTML, Java, or similar;

· 1 year of experience in PLC controls programing such as Emerson, ABB, Tridium Niagara, or similar;

· 1 year of experience in Controls HMI programming for listed PLC controllers; and

· 1 year of experience in Controls Networks using Echelon, or ModBus, or Bacnet protocols.



Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.



Up to 5% domestic travel required.
